Every day Lakecrest students come ready to learn and be engaged in their surrounding, to maximize learning time, our daily schedule is as follows:

Wednesday Extended Lunch
On Wednesday of each week, the lunch hour is from 11:50 am – 12:50 pm. At this time, students may leave the building with parents or guardians for lunch away from the school. Students who remain in school will have lunch from 11:50-12:15 pm., and will have a common lunch recess until 12:50 pm. This recess may be outside, in the gymnasium or in the classroom, as weather conditions and attendance permit.Grade 8, 9 and 10 students have the privilege of leaving the school grounds on their own, provided a release/permission form is signed by their parent/guardian in September and filed with their homeroom teacher as well as the school office. This privilege will be contingent on timely return to class by 12:50 pm.
School Closures
Lakecrest will follow the NLESD policy and practice for school closures during cases of poor weather or power outages.
